DrumsForCures, Inc. a Charlotte-based organization dedicated to helping those with cancer, has launched d = BC2 (drumSTRONG = BEATingChildhoodCancer) in the annual Carolinas Thanksgiving Day Carousel Parade. The d = BC2 initiative kicks off a matching funds campaign to raise money for cancer research and clinical trials at Levine Children's Hospital.

DrumsForCures is committed to helping children and families affected by cancer. Best known for their annual signature event, drumSTRONGTM, the DrumsForCures charity organization is partnering with Levine Children's Hospital to introduce the d = BC2 matching funds campaign to help beat childhood cancer. Past and present LCH cancer survivors rode on the Thanksgiving Day float along with drumSTRONG drummers. DrumsForCures introduces an exciting, creative way to educate the community, support survivorship and raise funds to “BEAT” cancer.
