Kohl's matiene a los niños seguros, dentro y fuera del campo
Members of the West Meck High School football team proudly display the generous donation from Kohl's.
On October 24, Kohl's Department Store presented over $162,000 to the Sports Injury Prevention and Education Program at Levine Children's Hospital. District Store Manager Joe Bechtel presented the check during halftime at the West Mecklenburg High School home football game vs. Charlotte Catholic.
This generous gift will go to help provide medical assistance and education to our local sports teams, athletic trainers and first responders on proper concussion management. The gift also provides IMPACT concussion testing to all CMS high school student-athletes as well as high-tech concussion sensors for West Mecklenburg's football team.
To date, Kohl's has donated over one-half million dollars locally to help ensure the safety of our young athletes. You can be a part of this team, too. Visit your local Kohl's store to participate in the Kohl's Cares for Kids program.
