On Sunday, April 26, members of the Dreamcatcher Society gathered for a celebration at Oehler's Barn in Charlotte. More than 150 members were joined by friends and family to socialize, create awareness of their support for Levine Children's Hospital (LCH), and recruit new members. The family-centered event featured a barbecue dinner, children's raffle, live music, hayrides, games, and a clogging demonstration. Brian Roth, a member of the Dreamcatcher Advisory committee, also shared brief remarks about the Society's successful fundraising efforts.

Fundada en 2004, la Dreamcatcher Society es un grupo muy activo que se interesa por la salud y el bienestar de los niños de Charlotte y la región circundante. Cuando los miembros fundadores se unieron al grupo, prometieron aportar $1,000 por año, durante cinco años, para financiar los programas y recursos del hospital. The Dreamcatcher Society's current project is endowing the hospital's Child Life Program – one of the largest programs of its kind in the country. The talented Child Life team cares for the emotional needs of children and their families, educates them about their hospital experience, and helps restore a sense of normalcy to their lives.
