On Thursday, June 4, at 7:30 p.m., NewsChannel 36 (WCNC-TV) aired a special program produced by Carolinas HealthCare Foundation: Growing Up with Levine Children's Hospital. Hosted by LCH patients, the 30-minute show highlights the resilient children and families who are receiving the finest care possible, here at our hospital. From babies who overcome immense challenges at birth - to children who fight genetic diseases on a daily basis - their stories provide hope and inspiration. It is through the generous support of our community and CHS caregivers that these children are growing and celebrating birthdays, playing sports, going to school, and proving every day that miracles happen here at Levine Children's Hospital. Throughout the show, we hope you could hear and see how these kids are doing now, and check out a special music video by recording artist, Chris Cook.
