Today, members from Eastwood Homes and Levine Children's Hospital (LCH) gathered at the new children's hospital to celebrate the beginning of a new partnership. Eastwood Homes continues to reinforce its long-standing commitment to the Charlotte area by entering into a philanthropic partnership with Carolinas HealthCare System and Levine Children's Hospital. Eastwood Homes will donate a percentage of revenue for every house it sells. The agreement is for 10 years with a total commitment of $500,000.
Joe Stewart, who founded Eastwood Homes 30 years ago, explained: 'My family and our company have always strived to be good citizens. We value our community, its people, our employees and homeowners. As a gesture of appreciation, we are proud to offer support in a way that benefits the community at large. The Levine Children's Hospital is a tremendous asset to our growing region. We believe in the principle of ‘do good by doing good.''
