Levine Children's Hospital has earned Five-Star and Four-Star Customer Service Awards and two Achievement Awards from Professional Research Consultants, Inc., a national healthcare patient satisfaction research company. 'These awards demonstrate the commitment that our staff at Levine Children's Hospital has to providing excellent healthcare for children,' says Martha Whitecotton, hospital administrator. 'We take pride in our ability to deliver care that is centered on the needs of children and their families.'
The Five-Star designation is only awarded to those that score in the top 10 percent of the facilities participating in the study nationwide. It is based on the percentage of the facility's patients who rate the facility 'Excellent' for the overall quality of care question. The Four-Star designation reflects scores in the top quartile nationally. Achievement awards are given in recognition of innovation in the delivery of excellent customer service.
